WOVEN BENCH CLASS December 1-5, 2025
Build and upholster a leather bench in this multimedia class. Bench dimensions will be 40’’ long by 17’’ deep. Bench height is 19’’. Expect to go from 8:50 am to about 5:30 pm with a break for lunch.

BASKET WEAVING CLASS Saturday, December 6
Join us for a day of basket weaving using waxed linen and reed. We start at 9am at 2139 Humboldt Street and weave until 5pm with a lunch break at Stemma West (a block away). We provide materials and will have other supplies on hand for purchase if you want to continue weaving.
Cost of the class is $175 but no one will be turned away if they want to pay less or nothing.

DINING CHAIR CLASS December 15-19
In this weeklong class, you’ll build a dining chair while learning the basics of how we approach making furniture. We will supply the wood (usually Sapele) and assume it’s everyone’s first exposure to woodworking. Expect to go from 8:50 am to about 5:30 pm for the week.
Cost is $1,250. A $500 deposit reserves your spot in the class. All materials are provided for except your choice of seat bottom upholstery of fabric or leather. Seat bottoms sold separately.

ADJUSTABLE BACK CHAIR CLASS February 2-6, 2026
In this week long class we will build an adjustable back chair with matching ottoman. This is a challenging and fun class. Expect to go from 8:50 am to about 5:30 pm with a break for lunch.
Cost is $1,650. A $500 deposit reserves your spot in the class. The cost of upholstery is not included. Arrangements can be made through the shop.

SMALL TABLE CLASS

In this class, you can build a custom table that fits a specific space in your home. Dimensions need to be approved by the instructors first. Wood is provided.
This is a great introductory class to woodworking and gives the student a chance to use the full array of shop tools and machines.
The cost for this class is $1,300. A deposit of $300 is due at sign up.

Build your own puzzle, game, or craft table. Hinged table top with drawers allows this table to be multi-use! Start a project and be able to hide it away from your cat or puzzle poachers. Expect to go from 8:50 am to about 5:30 pm with a break for lunch.
