Turning wood into functional art

Inspiration can indeed come from anywhere, from snatches of conversation to the patterns of nature all around us. Whatever we're working on, we take pride in the smallest details and enjoy the constant creativity involved in following where new ideas lead us.

Once we've determined a design and chosen the wood, design details, and dimensions, we use hand mortise and tenon joints for a solid, graceful construction. The finish is either rubbed on or sprayed, depending on the type of wood and how the piece will be used in your living space. Tabletops generally require a matte finish of conversion varnish for superior durability.

Whatever we create, our goal is a finely crafted piece that is both functional and beautiful, one whose construction and aesthetic stand the test of time.
